So I'm moving house (back to London) in two days, and I'm planning on turning my room into a 1940's/50's inspired boudoir! These images have inspired me so far to think about silk dressing table curtains, impressive wall clocks, plush rugs and floral duvet sets!

Ohhhhh, you lucky, lucky lass you! A vintage dressing room, boudoir or even "just" vanity table has been a lifelong dream of mine. Please post more about what you put together - I adore seeing such rooms and living my desires for one vicariously through.

Mine too... I have had a look around for vanity tables but most are a long way away and I don't have a car in London.
DeleteFor now my room is quite floral and I have vintage pin up posters dotted around :) It's cute but I really can't wait to have somewhere I will be allowed to decorate properly! One day we will have our dream houses !
